Approach

Investing in understanding yourself — what makes you unique, what makes you strong, and how you may hold yourself back — is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. Self-awareness is like a super-power — it doesn’t solve all life’s problems, but it gives you ways of navigating challenges that make you more likely land well. To help you achieve insight, I use techniques that build on your strengths, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural (CBT)

  • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)

  • Narrative Therapy

All my work is trauma-informed, and I share with you the latest research about how our minds work, as well as practical tools to help you achieve your goals. I work transparently, and am always happy to explain techniques I may use.

what to expect

I will work with you to establish goals for both therapy in general and for each session, whether you're an individual, a couple or a family. Expect thoughtful questions, Aha! moments, serious moments, and laughter too.

Whether you are looking for simple new tools or techniques to help shift your mood, or you need help charting a course through a major life transition, or you’re puzzling through challenges with grief, family, relationships or work, I feel it’s an honour to support your success and be a part of your story.
